State Gets Higher Tax Revenue Estimates

(Providence, RI)--Additional tax revenue for the state of Rhode Island is being forecast.Fiscal analysts increased the estimates on Friday for this year and 2020 by 27-million dollars; most of that is in the current budget year, ending June 30th.However, one adviser said about half of the additional revenue was already accounted for in Governor Gina Raimondo's budget proposal in January.
