Flooding Possible In Some Areas Of State Today And Tomorrow

More winter weather is expected to cause travel and potential flooding issues across Rhode Island.

Much of the state is under a Winter Weather Advisory through 7 pm this evening, with a mix of snow and rain.

Snowfall of one to two inches is possible in the southern part of the state, and two to three inches in the northern tier.

River Flood Warnings are posted until Tuesday afternoon, including for the Pawtuxet and Wood Rivers. Snow should taper off to rain as the day goes on.
