The victim of Wednesday's crash at the Subway restaurant in Smithfield has been identified as Charlotte Vacca of Woonsocket.
The Valley Breeze reports Vacca was the manager of the store on Putnam Pike.
Her family has created a GoFundMe page asking for help covering the funeral expenses.
Vacca was described as a hard-working and devoted mother.
Authorities say the driver apparently sped his car through the parking lot before crashing into the restaurant.
The incident remains under investigation.
