He told it to the judge and now he faces a federal prosecution.

A man who once appeared on the TV show "Caught In Providence" and told Judge Frank Caprio he had robbed over one-hundred banks in his lifetime is facing a federal charge.

The Justice Department has filed a single bank robbery count against William Sequeira of Fall River, Massachusetts.

Sequeira allegedly robbed two banks in Boston earlier this fall.

The 59-year-old, who had noted that he spent over three decades in prison for his previous crimes, faces a potential sentence of up to twenty more years behind bars if convicted on the new charge.

The Judge has not commented yet.
