Black Lives Matter Street Mural Goes Up In Providence

(Providence, RI) -- A Black Lives Matter street mural is up in Providence. The mural was set up yesterday in Kennedy Plaza next to Burnside Park. Mayor Jorge Elorza joined activists in the area yesterday to commemorate the achievement. Mayor Elorza said the mural serves as an important point of protest against racism and injustice. The Providence All Black Lives Matter street mural is the work of local artists. The mural's official ribbon cutting inauguration falls on the weekend of Juneteenth.
