(Providence, RI)--The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is advising that lane restrictions are going into place for bridge repairs near the Providence Place Mall.Starting on Monday, the left lanes of Promenade Street and Providence Place will close in the area of their intersection with Park Street near the rear entrance of the mall.Access through the mall's parking garage will be maintained.RIDOT says it needs to repair concrete piers that support the ramp carrying traffic from Route 6 and Memorial Boulevard to Interstate 95.The new pattern will be in place through the late summer.
