Man Sentenced For Road Rage Shootings

(Providence, RI) -- A Providence man accused of multiple shootings is being sentenced to fifteen years in prison. Anthony Jackson pleaded no contest on Thursday in Superior Court to over a dozen charges. Prosecutors said an investigation into a shooting in Pawtucket earlier this year connected Jackson to two road rage incidents where gunshots were fired on Route 146 in Lincoln and Route 6 in Providence in 2017. The drivers in both incidents were not hit by the gunfire.
