Winter-Ready: RIDOT Adds To Plow Fleet

(East Greenwich, RI)  --  The start of meteorological winter is on Saturday, and the Rhode Island Department of Transportation says it's ready.  Governor Gina Raimondo at a press conference at RIDOT headquarters yesterday highlighted eighteen new plow trucks that have been added to the state fleet, bringing the total number of vehicles to 150, and new weather sensor equipment on the trucks.  RIDOT says it has 60-thousand tons of salt ready to dispense.
