Attorney General Candidate Storms Off Stage

(North Kingstown, RI)  --  A candidate for Rhode Island attorney general who was previously arrested for illegal possession of marijuana is making headlines for spelling out a racial slur at a recent event.  Tabloid news site TMZ shared video of Alan Gordon, a member of the Compassion Party, spelling out the "n-word" at a forum at North Kingstown High School, where he and Democratic opponent Peter Neronha were fielding questions from students.  Gordon became upset that Neronha used the term "marijuana" and claimed it was racist, and was seen leaving the stage.  Gordon and Compassion Party candidate for governor Anne Armstrong were charged earlier this month for having nearly 50 pounds of pot in their West Greenwich home.
