The rapper has been in the media spotlight lately after showing support for President Trump and a controversial statement that 400-years of African-American slavery was a choice. I have zero problem with West's support of Trump, but to suggest slavery was a "choice" is just a massive display of ignorance.
Asked her thoughts on the issue Wednesday on "Fox Business," Rice said not everyone has to think politically the same way. She said people should never assume what's on someone's mind because of their race. What's that got to do with suggesting slavery was a "choice?" Blacks were brought from Africa to America and sold as slaves in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. It's a matter of historical FACE not a matter of opinion. Sorry, Condi, but you're WAY off on this one. You can't shine horse poop.
