Property Owner Ordered To Remove Smelly Clamshells

(Tiverton, RI)  --  A Tiverton property owner is being ordered to stop dumping unwashed clamshells that are causing the smell of rotting meat.  The cease and desist order was delivered Friday to David Rose.  Rose must also remove the clams from a road leading to a farm by Saturday or face charges that could read to a court appearance.  Neighbors say the smell, maggots and flies from the shells have become unbearable.
